Introduction
CTMH offers door-to-door non-emergency transportation this is advantageous for persons who have mobility impairments, considered fall risks, balance issues, or anxiety causes any of the aforementioned conditions. This personal, hands-on assistance helps persons get through the doors of their residence. Another component of personalized service is schedule flexibility; many times, bus routing is fixed for seniors, and passengers. However, our routing will be based on individual needs of the riders such as feeding, appointment times and medications. CTMH provides ride services directly to low-income or marginalized populations for core programs within divisions of DHS—mental health, rehabilitation services, substance use prevention and recovery, family and community services, developmental disabilities, and early childhood. To create a community without barriers to fill a gap in the broken transportation system where loved ones and children are often failed. We provide vital transportation services to the communities we serve. Providing service for medical trips, students, persons with disabilities and more! We provide over 65 thousand rides annually. To fulfill the gap in the broken transportation system servicing the most disadvantaged populations in our communities.
